Combi boilers are usually relatively easy to install and designed to be straightforward to operate and maintain. They are perfect for domestic use and are considerably more environmentally friendly than traditional hot water boilers.
Combi boilers heat water when required directly from the mains water supply which is not only more energy efficient, but also removes the need for a hefty water tank.
Dimplex Halstead combi boilers come in three separate models: the Ace HE, the Eden CBX and the Maxol. The Ace HE design is a high performance condensing boiler that comes in three versions with varying maximum outputs and thus varying maximum flow rates. The models are available in 24kW, 30kW and 35kW which provide flow rates of 10.9, 14.7 and 16.7 litres per minute respectively.
The Dimplex Halstead Ace HE is particularly well-suited to small and medium sized households and has easily accessed plumbing and wiring. The Eden CBX model is a premium performance open condensing boiler. It too is available with different outputs of 24kW, 32kW or 38kW which determine the maximum flow rates of 9.8, 13.1 and 15.6 litres per minute, respectively.
The Eden CBX is easy to install as it comes with a pre-plumbed fixing jig. It has a five year warranty. The Ace HE and Eden CBX are have A-ratings for efficiency under the SEDBUK (“Seasonal Efficiency in Domestic Boilers in the United Kingdom”) guidelines and the Maxol has a B-rating. The Maxol has a DHW flow rate of 11.5 litres per minute and comes with a number of features that make it particularly user-friendly and time-efficient for the consumer.
